Noi #7 – Current State of Affairs February 28, 2009
Posted by Noi in Noi's Rants.4 comments
Short little update on my current electronics situation, seeing how Mach gets anxious if he doesn’t see something new on the front page in a while.
If you aren’t up to date with my situations, my laptop went and burnt out recently. I was in the middle of a Left 4 Dead campaign (Single player, since I don’t hadn’t gotten the ropes on handling the special infected yet), when the laptop just shut down without warning. Of course, if it had just ran out of batteries, I would have known, since the charging sign would have turned on the moment I plugged it in, but no such thing happened. Plus when I took it over to a friend of my mother’s who deals with computers, he couldn’t get it to respond at all, so he’s gonna take it to the only Toshiba service center around here when he gets the chance. Of course, it doesn’t end there. 30 minutes after my laptop shut down, I turned on my desktop, which was working fine a month before. Turns out that both of the hard drives are degraded, and because of that, the computer would just get stuck in an eternal booting up loop, where it would restart the moment it didn’t detect the hard drives.
Seeing how about a month earlier, my capture card had broken down, I was starting to think that maybe I was running into a lot of back luck electronics-wise. Luckily, my mother had put away an old desktop we used to use before we got our current ones, and to my surprise, it still works. The downside is that it doesn’t have a wireless card, so I’ve got an ethernet cable just hanging across the room. While it’s not pretty, it works, so I’m not complaining. What surprised me the most was just how long this forgotten desktop had been retired. I actually went and found a folder with fansubs for every episode of Full Metal Alchemist, untouched since August 2006. That’s only about 3 years ago, and yet I didn’t even remember this desktop existed.
On the plus side, I discovered something very spiffy two days ago. Being curious about being able to do PC streams on this obsolete desktop (it won’t even run Half Life 2 without crashing), I downloaded Adobe Flash Media Encoder, which showed me that there was an active input for a “Pinnacle DV/AV Capture”. Curious about that, I took a look for the first time on the back of the dust-ridden desktop, and realized that were was actually a composite and an S-Video input on the back of the computer, something I had no idea was even there. As a result, I can now return to streaming my console games, so despite not being able to play Left 4 Dead (which I bought 2 days before the Laptop died), I’m happy with being able to show them online.
To compensate for the rather boring post, here’s a video.
Peace.

Sousuke #13 – THIRTEEN. February 25, 2009
Posted by Sousuke in Sousuke's Rants.4 comments
THIRTEEN. Good old lucky 13. Having just passed [a little over a week ago] a ‘Friday the 13th’, I figured this was fairly appropriate. Interestingly enough, there’s going to be another such Friday in March–that’s two in a row. Doesn’t happen often!
In any case, I’ve been pretty bored lately. Not really doing much… I actually had to spend the past weekend [Friday to Monday] at my new apartment [though I'm not moving until April 1st] because my roommate-to-be was away and she needed someone to watch her dog. So, I was without internet… It was actually more difficult than it sounds. :/
BUT, there was an upside to this! I brought along my 360 HDD because they have a 360… and Rock Band 2 [along with a bunch of other games], and I was tired of constantly starting over every time I went there. So now I have a band and characters and ACHIEVEMENTS for RB2. I have to say I’m having a lot of fun with it. It’ll probably be one of my next ‘big’ gaming purchases. We’ll see.
The reason I’m posting this entry though isn’t to rant about games… Well, not exactly. I’m aiming more to talk about upcoming games. …Again, not exactly. Not in the sense of NEW ones, anyway.
Wait, what?
Case in point? Well, there’s a few, actually. First off: Persona. No, not Persona 3 or Persona 4. The original Shin Megami Tensei: Persona. A remake is already due for the PSP in Japan in late April, but Atlus has announced today [technically yesterday, by the time this is getting posted] that it will be making its way to North American shores in late 2009. Not only that, but apparently, the new version features an updated interface, reworked music, new cut scenes, a more balanced difficulty level, and a “completely redone localization and content never before seen in North America”. Exciting!
Secondly, a VERY popular game that recently debuted on PS3: LittleBigPlanet. What about it? Well, probably old news, [as it leaked a while back,] but LBP will ALSO be making the move to PSP. It won’t be the same game, however. But of course, it will feature a lot of the same type of gameplay and experience, just… portable! Sounds good to me. Especially since I can’t afford a PS3.
Some other notables that will be ported to the PSP are… MotorStorm Arctic Edge, Rock Band Unplugged, as well as Madden NFL 10 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. Of course, we also have Dissidia: Final Fantasy to look forward to this summer. Ubisoft also apparently plans on making a PSP-exclusive addition to Assassin’s Creed sometime later this year. Should be interesting to see how these flesh out–especially a portable Rock Band.

Repede Limit #3 – Mach goes to Katsucon!! February 24, 2009
Posted by Mach in Repede Limit.4 comments
About time I posted this up. It’s about two weeks late, but who’s counting?
It took a while to get everything compiled usually due to my own laziness and my friend’s laziness since it took me a week to get the necessary picture from him.
And post this many short lines, you could only tell it’s a shameless filler just so this part looks reasonably well against this tall avatar.
But anyway, I hope you enjoy my little what I did/Impressions/review of Katsucon15.
In a quick nutshell, the convention itself was held on February 13-15th at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia.
Day 1 – Friday
Friday the 13th… You could only expect shit to happen on a day like this… Aside from the release of another crappy Jason movie of the same name.
Sigh… My morning was already off to a crummy start. I overslept and hour and half and then kinda rushed to get ready. I had a feeling I was probably gonna forget something on the way, but I figured it wouldn’t have been too important. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my camera. Ugh…
I arrived at my friends place about a half hour later than I had planned, but it didn’t really matter much anyway since the one driving us came another half hour later than I did.
Around 9 AM. We finally take off from Jersey and make tracks to Virginia. Pretty lax most of the way there. Just before we reached Baltimore, a cop car suddenly trails off and we’re suddenly pulled to the side of the road.
Fuck, what the hell did we do this time? Apparently we were going 82 MPH and never realized it. This is what my friend gets for having a really tall truck to ride in and having a speedometer that misjudges how fast you’re actually going. So much for our lives. Luckily for us, the officer had only let us off with a warning. Afterwards, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there.
Katsucon was being held in Arlington, VA, but that wasn’t our first destination. As I had mentioned many times before, we were going to head to a Cici’s Pizza in Ashland to play some beatmania IIDX 16: EMPRESS. While we did do that, it’s Friday the 13th! Something bad has to happen, right?
You bet it did! The machine kept getting multiple errors and we ended up losing our game. We attempted to restart the machine, but to no avail, the machine wouldn’t work in our favor. I probably got one full game in, but that was about it.
Fortunately for us, there was a mall nearby that had a couple of good games. Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 3 for my friend and Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2 for me and my two other friends. To ease the pain of not being able to play EMPRESS, I drowned my sorrows in some Wangan and SuperNOVA2, for the most part, it held me over pretty well.
After some time in Ashland, it was about time for us to make our way back to Arlington to where the convention was being held. We were staying at the Hilton Crystal City at National Airport for only a cool $90 (Yes, a cool 90 bux. Sneaking people into the room for the win). The hotel was about a 1/3rd mile away from the convention center. We quickly put our things down and got ready to go down to the convention.
Around this time, it was probably be about 9 PM. Around 11, it would be time for one of the reasons we had gone to the con in the first place.
Aural Vampire
My god, what an amazing show. On top of that, the main singer was pretty damn hot. I didn’t feel like busting 30 bux on a CD, so I skipped out on that. If my friend ever uploads the videos or anything, I’ll be sure to link them.
The con by then was pretty much over for that day. We spent a little more time in the game room and then proceeded to the 7/11 across the street for some midnight snacks, made our way back to the hotel and rested up for what would come tomorrow.
Day 2 – Saturday
Today would be the day where we would be doing most of the bulk stuff inside the con. Dealer’s Room, whatever events happened that day, and then some. It was also no longer Friday the 13th, there should be no more bad luck, right?
So we make our way over to the hotel by about 11 AM. We decided to browse the Dealer’s Room to find some stuff to buy. I figured, I’m at a convention, might as well buy something since I probably won’t find it for a good while back in Jersey.
Here was my haul:
The most kick-ass Kirby shirt ever. For dignity purposes I actually wanted to get the pink one. Unfortunately, it was only available in ladies sizes, so I had to settle for the red one. It was either that I would blast some money on this shirt or a TWEWY shirt. I would’ve actually gotten a red TWEWY shirt, but they only had it available in a limited amount of sizes. The shirt was too awesome anyway, so Kirby wins.
I also bought a piece of flair to balance out what I had missed from purchasing the shirt. Bet you saw that Wolf Sticker coming also.
Money status: $22 down, $33 remaining.
I was also on the hunt for a plushie. This is the one I walked away with a kick-ass Sky Forme Shaymin plushie. My friend bought the original Land Forme one, so I figured, what the hell, might as well get the other one.
Money Status: $23 down, $10 remaining.
And… That was all I bought.
Now, another thing that I had mentioned that I was going to do while at this convention was to meet fellow Backloggery member, KasumiBlue.
I’ve actually been mistaken this whole time. I’ve been referring to KasumiBlue as a guy, when in reality, KasumiBlue is a girl (Sorry about that T_T).
So I attend the Tales of Fandom Panel. I was probably the most clueless person in that whole room about the series, Consider this, I own only Legendia, Symphonia, and Vesperia, and on top of all that, I only progressed a short distance in all of the games.
Overall, I did learn a couple of things while I was there. Not enough to enlighten me, but just enough to inform me. Hopefully, Kasumi, if she’s not busy, could type up a little thing about what happened at the Tales of Fandom panel.
Well, because of the panel, I missed out on an autograph session with Aural Vampire. I was the only one out of my friends to not actually get an autograph.
So much for my life. ![]()
LUNCH TIME! What to do now? McDonalds across the street. Nothing eventful.
So we arrive back at the hotel where the convention is again. Honestly, the Shaymin plushie wasn’t my first ambition to buy there in the Dealer’s Room. Of course, I was on the hunt for a Lucario plushie. Didn’t find one.
But, in turn, me and my friends run into the most awesome Lucario cosplayers ever. Really well made and stuff as well. Definite favorite costume I’ve seen the whole time I was at the con.
Surprise. Click the link to see the picture.
Around this time, it’s about 2 PM. We decided to kill off sometime (and by some, I mean a shitload) of time in the Game Room. we had already gone in there a little bit before, but this time, someone actually brought beatmania IIDX 15: DJTROOPERS! Beatmania times aren’t finished yet!
Well, kinda… The controller was a Japanese home controller and it was modded. The turntable was loose as hell and the buttons stuck. Despite the suckyness of the controller, I managed to finally pass Dazzlin’ Darling on Hyper… Twice.
What the fuck? Why can’t I do that at home.
So 4 hours pass, we were supposed to go to another panel thingy for my friend. It was an Initial D panel and stuff. To our dismay, the event was cancelled and some Bandai thing replaced it. We ended up coming in a little later, but it did introduce me to a new anime I’m actually pretty interested in. They showed two episodes of Kurokame: The Animation.
So by the end of that, we decided to kill off some time and watch Death Note II: The Last Name. My god, what an interesting movie. The live action thing actually helped it’s cause. It was a pretty awesome movie. Watch it when you get the chance.
That ended up taking a bulk of our time. Just before we left, we decided to go back to the game room one last time and play our respective games.
If anything good came out of that night, the 7/11 broke the street date of Street Fighter 4. They picked up a copy for the PS3 and made it available for play in the Game Room. Unfortunately the line was long, and I didn’t feel like waiting.
I just played some more DJTROOPERS and then called it a night.
Long, boring drive back to Jersey.
So… that was my weekend. For Katsucon being my first anime convention, it was pretty cool. It leaves me hopeful for the upcoming ones that they’ll be better and stuff.
There’s a couple things I learned though:
1. L (Death Note), Hanekoma (TWEWY), and Sho (TWEWY) are the easiest characters to cosplay. Ever. I saw more than I neede to see of these guys.
2. Jigglypuff in Melee was a fucking beast. I ended up getting killed by one in about 10 seconds when the match started. D:
3. 7/11 breaks street dates. I MUST KEEP IN MIND THAT I SHOULD ALWAYS HOLD ON TO A LOT OF CASH.
4. Money, bring more of it.
So, what do I give this convention?
Would I go back?
It depends on what they’re offering next year.
Overall, I had a lot of fun at this convention.
Check it you get the chance.
Until then, later~

Hands on the Noi #2 – Noby Noby Boy February 22, 2009
Posted by Noi in Hands on the Noi.1 comment so far
This game… I don’t even know what to classify it as. Can it even be called a game? It feels more like a way of life, if you will. There aren’t that many things you can do in this sandbox title brought to us by the creative mind behind Katamari Damacy, yet it’s so strangely addictive. You stretch. You eat. You grow. You contribute to GIRL’s growth. Yes, helping girl is all you wish to do. No, all We wish to do. For We are not the only BOY out there. It’ll please FAIRY and SUN too, that it will. It pleases Them greatly. And after all, all GIRL wants to do is grow too. With your help, she can reach out to everyone in the universe. Why are We talking like the King of All Cosmos? Anyhoo, We just described the basis of the game in a nutshell, but if it was too cryptic for your puny mind to analyze, well, read on then.
As BOY, your mission in life is to stretch and grow. As you stretch, the amount by which you stretch is added to a meter. Simple, yes? You can also eat the inhabitants of the maps you visit, which make you grow even more. Eat, Stretch, Grow. The more you do this, the more GIRL grows. You wish to please GIRL, don’t you? She’s counting on you to help her grow. She wants to connect all the planets in the universe after all. And she can only grow depending on how much BOY grows. Of course, you aren’t the only BOY in the world. At the time We write this, there are 23,768 BOYs on Earth, all doing their best to help GIRL grow. It’s a cummulative effort, you see. Competition between the BOYs to see who can please GIRL the most. There’s even rankings and the links to display which BOY has pleased GIRL the most. At the time, We are only rank #4625 , but that will change soon enough.
Truly, this game can be very perplexing. It has confused Us on quite the number of occasions. But We will keep playing this, for you see, right now, GIRL wishes to reach the Moon. While she’s only 321,350,131 meters long right now, she will soon reach her goal, and then, soon enough, We will help her reach the next planet, and then the next one, and the next one. It’s a never ending struggle to please GIRL. This BOY will certainly do his very best.
While the controls feel very Katamri-ish, this is clearly not the same game. You move BOY’s head with the left analog stick, and BOY’s rear end with the right analog stick. You press L2 to eat, and tap it to make BOY’s head jump, and hold it to make BOY’s head resist movement and stand in place. R2 does the same things, only with the rear end. Of course, if you eat with BOY’s head, you can imagine what his rear end does. You stretch by pulling BOY’s two parts in opposite directions, and stretch furter by eating, which causes you to grow in size. All camera controls are handled with R1 and L1, and while they take a while to get used to, work spendidly once mastered.
We do believe We have gone on enough about this charming title. After all, We need to go and help GIRL grow to reach the Moon. If there are other BOYs out there reading this, why are you not out there helping GIRL as well? Stop wasting your time online and get to it. We are most displeased with you.

Mach #48 – *grumbles* Part Deux February 19, 2009
Posted by Mach in Mach's Rants.3 comments
Well, apparently no one likes to update and I haven’t heard from Spectro or Tenks in ages. Talk once in a while you two! >:(
Anyway, I was gonna make my next rant my review and what happened down at Katsucon, but my friend is being too lazy and slow to go and upload the pictures. I’ll probably just nab it from him tomorrow or whatever. I really wanna get that post up.
So what’s been up with me lately? Not a whole lot. Aside from my blowing off my whole allowance on Street Fighter IV, there isn’t much really for me to say. The game is pretty amazing so far. Graphics are superb, Sagat is still cheap as hell, and apparently obesity is the new shit for fighters (see Tekken 6). Although, it’s an odd quirk with me, I seem to fight a lot better with the standard 360 controller, rather than my arcade stick.
It’s weird though. I was so pumped to use my Hori arcade stick for this game, but now I see myself fighting with the worst possible control option in the game. Eh… I suppose it’s just easier to play swipe characters (as I define them… They’re characters who use the 236+P specials. Characters in this group include Ryu and Ken [to pull off their hadokens and such]) on it than an arcade stick… That’s just me, I suppose, but I don’t think it will help me in the long run though.
Besides obviously being impressed with the graphics and such, I’m awfully impressed with the online mode. Even on a shitty stability connection, the game runs flawlessly (at least for me). I could jump into one of those quick matches and just play a match whenever I don’t feel like dealing with the other game modes (because Trial Mode HARD is a bitch. I suck at doing combos in Street Fighter
).
Aside from all that, it’s pretty fun and hopefully more of my friends pick it up in due time so I have people to fight.
So, after Katsucon, I suddenly got the urge to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl again. I figured I should since I haven’t hooked up my Wii in ages either. After a couple of play throughs, Falco is still my main. I’ve almost completely lost it with Wolf. Fox is still alright, and probably my new back up is Game and Watch. I’ll probably be playing this on and off for a while.
Persona 4. What’s that game? Seriously, no progress at all as of lately. I want to… But I just can’t find the time to bother just sitting down and playing it. I really wanna beat this game. I do. T_T
What else…? I’m in a Pokemon Tournament right now for a board I go to… Another Gym Leader Open (Type Specific) tournament and I got Fighting types… Not a huge pool, but I’m interested to see where this typing takes me since Psychics and Dragons are banned (you’re only allowed to have one of that type on your team, but no full teams can be formed with those specific types). Sousuke is part of this tournament as well. Speaking of which, I have to fight him eventually… I’ll tell you all how that goes… Or I’ll just let him tell you for the sake of updating and stuff.
It’s been a little dead here ever since I left for Virginia that weekend and I haven’t been able to get online all that much. C’mon people… I’m interested to see what’s up with everyone. I haven’t heard from half of you in a while! Don’t be a stranger!
I’ll leave it at this for now. Just a general gaming update, nothing really special. Expect that Katsucon update sometime this week as well, and perhaps a Claw Marks or something. Definitely interested in sharing more music with the rest of you (whether you download it or not)
Until then, later~

Noi #6 – Turning out to be one Hell of a day February 16, 2009
Posted by Noi in Noi's Rants.3 comments
All text post. No fancy pictures, no fancy videos, just WORDS.
…This feels odd, seeing how I usually sneak a picture in for filler space. Just cause I hate typing too little. Ah well.
So I’ve been getting back to the gaming scene during these two weeks of vacation in between college trimesters, and I’ve done some progress. I managed to finally beat RosenKreuzStilette, which was my bane for quite a while. I’ve sort of been reluctant to play any console games due to the lack of capture card to stream them, but that hasn’t stopped me from playing the hell out of an awesome PAL/JP-only title, Disaster: Day of Crisis. I’ve you’ve been to Minty’s streams as of late, odds are you know just how awesome this game is, but just in case, here’s a brief rundown.
You play the role of Raymond Brice, Ray for short. He’s an ex-Rescue team member whose on a mission to rescue Lisa, your deceased best friend’s sister, from a military group called SURGE. The entire game takes place in the span of 24 hours, yet in that timeframe, Ray survives an Eartquake, flash floods, a tsunami, a fire tornado, a lahar, a volvanic eruption AND a category 5 hurricane. All the while having frequent shootouts with SURGE soldiers in the middle of said natural disasters. Now doesn’t that sound all kinds of awesome? You can start sending hate male to Reggie for deciding that the game isn’t a “quality” title, as this game just oozes with potential. Finding a game with this kind of charm amidst the sea of shooter and grimdark serious games nowadays is very hard.
That said, I’ve already gottent through the game in hard mode, which took a few tries. Now I’m just unlocking the extra content in the game for completion, as the game really has me hooked. I’ll have to do Real Disaster mode soon enough, so I’ll let you know how that works out once I do it.
In other gaming news, Valve offered a sweet 50% discount on Left 4 Dead this past weekend, through which I finally got the damn game. The single player AI is dumb as nuts, but I had a blast playing through it with ArtyArt (though I still blame him for letting me die at the final minute of the game). If anyone else has the PC version of L4D, feel free to ring me up to play on Steam. If you have the 360 version, don’t even mention it, as that’s not what the question was about.
In even more unrelated gaming news, my RPG backlog progress has been slow. I put a few more hours into Final Fantasy V, but even that’s been slow… Well, I guess I’ll get back to those eventually.

Mach #47 – Derkomach talks too much February 12, 2009
Posted by Mach in Mach's Rants.6 comments
I seriously do. This many rants really should say something about me.
Anyway, big announcement from me. As most of you know (well, those paying attention to the chat streams anyway), I’ll be leaving Jersey for the weekend and traveling down to Virginia for Katsucon with some friends. It will be my first anime convention as well, so I’m looking forward to it.
What will I be doing down in Virigina? Even before we hit the convention, me and my friends will head to a Cici’s Pizza about an hour away from where Katsucon is being held to play Beatmania IIDX 16: EMPRESS. Well, if the arcade I play at (specifically the one that has Tekken 6) gets it, then I’ll be a happy camper. IIDX is become a shitload of fun for me even though I could only play 6s and 7s.
What I actually plan to do at the convention? Two things mainly:
1. Aural Vampire. The Electro group playing there. It was the reason my friend wanted to go to Katsucon in the first place. Personally, I’ve never heard of them, but after watching a couple of their songs on YouTube, they look to be a pretty good group.
[MySpace]
They also have a song featured in Beatmania IIDX 15: DJTROOPERS called 湘南族 (Shonanzoku) -cannibal coast-.
2. Backloggery meet-up time! After talking about it in the stream, I discovered that fellow backlogger, KasumiBlue, was going to Katsucon as well. What makes it even easier to find him? TWETY cosplay as Sho and that Kasumi is a panelist for the Tales of Fandom panel they have. Shouldn’t be hard to miss a guy with a blue megaphone.
If anything, I’ll see what I could do about bringing my camera, do some recordin’ and possibly gettning Kasumi to write a guest article for us about what went down at the panel thing. Relevant to my interests for the sole reason that Len here is interested. o__o
This should be a very interesting weekend. I might, I might not be online. Thinking about whether or not I should bring my laptop with me on the trip. I just might so I could kill time in the room or whatever.
So what have I been doing gamewise? Aside from practicing up for EMPRESS, not much. The ROM for Retro Game Challenge came out the other day so I’ve been trying that out. The game is craploads of fun. The first game they challenged me to reminded me of something.
It remind me how much I suck at Galaga. ![]()
FUCK YOU, 200,000 POINTS CHALLENGE. FUCK YOU!
It will probably see a
or a
sometime soon. I’ve been blasting a lot of time into this one.
NO PERSONA 4 PROGRESS. FUCK ME SILLY.
Class time, gotta give my full “attention”.
Until then, later~

Rebel #10 – Double digits! February 11, 2009
Posted by Rebel in Rebel, Rebel's Rants.1 comment so far
It’s my turn already?! Feels like it’s only been a couple of days! …been a couple of weeks, though, UNFORTUNATELY. Anyways, as usual, I don’t have much to talk about, especially if it’s regarding my life. I’ve been doing schoolwork, and playing games. That’s pretty much it. Vesperia made me a Tales fan. Goddamnit, Vesperia! Having lots of fun with that game. Trying to slug through Fire Emblem, and trying to beat The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Sousuke wrote about it earlier! Great game. Fire Emblem… hrm… Such an awesome game, but I can’t bring myself to play it for some reason. SRPGS ALWAYS DO THIS TO MEEEE! Anyways, in this post, I’m going to review Mega Man Star Force: Leo/Pegasus/Dragon. No, not Earthbound! I’ll get to that eventually! FO’ SHO! Anyways, in the meantime, I hope you enjoy this review! I PUT MY HEART AND SOUL INTO IIT~!
Mega Man Star Force: Leo/Pegasus/Dragon Review (DS)
I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard of the Mega Man Star Force series; you know, the sequel to the Battle Network series? Being a sequel to a series (within a series with 7/8 entries itself), you’d guess that the Star Force feels like Battle Network… and the thing is, it does. Can playing such a similar game for the 8th/9th time be a blast, or is it a chore? (more…)
Claw Marks #6 – Mambo Gallego (D-Code Mix) February 10, 2009
Posted by Mach in Claw Marks.3 comments
Well, there’s a rant from me coming later, but I hate the lack of updates for about four days, so to cover ground, have some music from me. I promised to have a track that isn’t from Renard, so here it is.
I’m sure the moment you hear this song, you’ll recognize it. In The Groove players know this song simply as D-Code. Others might know this song as the Adult Swim Theme Song from back in the day. That little Spanish tune of a song producing so much funk.
What’s there to say about this song? I absolutely love this song. There aren’t enough words for me to describe it. You could pretty much find me dancing to this song almost all the damn time. Just give the song a download. I’m sure you’ll like it just as much as I do.
I need an excuse to waste space, so for those of you who still don’t recognize it, or still don’t know what the hell this song is, here’s a video for you to watch. Footage from a tournament that was held at the arcade I main at the other week (same week I lost my credit card
)
Now go and download the track!

Noi #5 – Jack load of Nothing February 6, 2009
Posted by Noi in Noi's Rants.12 comments
Felt like posting of my own accord for once. As of today, I’m free of college duties for three weeks, sans the project I have to turn in tuesday and my calc final on thursday. Maybe I can finally get some gaming done, of which, like this rant’s title says, I’ve not done much of.
Today, after turning in ANOTHER math test, I went to the mall with a few pals to see Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. It was ok, I guess, though some of the transformation effects were a bit cheesy. The highlight of it all though, was when we went to the arcade afterwards. No one knew that I had DDR blood in me, so most of them were a bit shocked seeing me pick A (Renaissance) on the Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA cabinet, even less playing it on Heavy mode. It’d been a while since I last played DDR so I did horribly, but hey, I got through 3/4 of the song anyway.
Anyway, like the title as well, I don’t have much to talk about, as besides studies, I’ve done a lot of nothing. I’ll be streaming Demonophobia as well as RosenKreuzStilette on my justin.tv stream tomorrow night, so make sure to tune into that.
Random video 4 u, I guess.
